Lloyd Drives New Career in IT
46-year-old Lloyd Henderson enjoyed his job as a taxi driver - particularly the interaction with customers but wanted better prospects for the future.
He decided to study an MCSE training course and chose Advent Computer Training after seeing an ad in his local paper. Having no previous experience of IT meant Lloyd was starting from scratch, but he has already secured a job working as a Customer Service Advisor for Client Logic in Newcastle, thanks to Advent Careers.
Advent Careers put forward my CV for the job and secured me an interview. The staff were all friendly, helpful and kept me informed of progress all along the way. Im really enjoying the job; I still have contact with lots of people and Im helping to solve their problems, which is very satisfying, says Lloyd.
