Distance learning courses

Advent’s students also benefit from an advanced Learning Management System designed to make sure students work at a pace to suit their own individual situation. Each student is tested at the end of every stage to make sure no-one moves forward until they are ready.

As part of every Advent IT training course, all students receive:

• Study Kits including official training materials, CDROMs and a study companion written by our certified trainers to guide students through the programme and provide additional explanations of key topics.
• Computer Based Training material with step-by-step introductory explanations of key topics, on-screen demonstrations and real-world examples. Exam preparation software - with multiple exam simulations - is also provided.
• Practical Workshops carried out in our modern, purpose designed training facilities, allowing you to meet with fellow students and tutors - face to face - and to get practical experience on our live computer networks.
• Tutor Support including unlimited email and telephone support.
• Examinations that can be taken in a number of locations and will be arranged at a time to suit each student – often at just a few days’ notice.
