Institute of Information Technology Training (IITT) Gold Level Partnership

The Institute of Information Technology Training (IITT) has awarded Gold Level Partnership to Advent Computer Training in recognition of the quality of our training services. The IITT runs a Training Provider Accreditation Programme - a register of approved providers of information technology training.

­Microsoft Gold Partner­

Gold Certified Partners represent the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies and have the closest working relationship with Microsoft.

Partners benefit from direct access to resources and support from Microsoft including technical services and access to a dedicated knowledge base.

Transcender

Transcender was formed in 1992, soon after Microsoft Corporation introduced its certification program. Today, Transcender continues to provide the most realistic simulations of Microsoft Certification exams. Transcender has also used the same exam-writing expertise to create simulations of CompTIA, Cisco, Novell, Oracle, CIW and Sun certification exams.

Advent is an established partner of Transcender. We include their exam simulation software and their computer based training in our programme materials.

PearsonVUE Testing centres

The PearsonVUE testing organisation is Microsofts global testing authority. VUE manages examinations for Microsoft, IBM, Cisco and the Institute of Financial Services.

The company has exam centres throughout the UK. When a student is ready, they can either sit the exam at Advent's own centre in Kidderminster or we can arrange for them to sit it at a centre more local to them.

Prometric

Prometric is a wholly-owned, independently operated subsidiary of Educational Testing Service (ETS). The company provides testing and assessment services in 135 countries to over 450 clients.

Prometric tests in more than 3000 locations across the globe to provide students with the greatest access possible.

Prosoft

Prosoft is one of the world's largest distributors of ICT education and training content. The company distributes content from offices in America, Asia and Europe to an extensive network of thousands of partners and authorised content providers.

Prosoft has led the job-role certification movement by creating the first successful professional-level job-role certification CIW available through Advent Computer Training.

CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association)

CompTIA is a 22-year-old, global organisation that produces and publishes independent training and certification programmes for the computer industry, including the A+ certification.

CompTIA has more than 22,000 member companies in over 100 countries around the world and serves as the voice of the worlds $1 trillion-plus IT industry. CompTIA is committed to helping individuals to obtain the skills and credentials they need for productive careers in IT.

Institute of Information Technology Training (IITT) Personally Funded Training (PFT)

This programme is exclusively for training providers who offer training services to those individuals who personally fund their own training.
